About Us
The mission of the Academic Success Center,in keeping with the mission of the University, is to promote student success "according to the philosophy of Christian humanism" by means of professional tutoring in reading, study skills, and writing; coordination of institution-wide peer tutoring in academic course work; referral to and interaction with appropriate resources; and through hosting the Gateway To Success Program, a University program for under-prepared students demonstrating leadership and academic potential. The Academic Success Center staff is committed to the belief that every DeSales University student is a good student seeking to become a better student.
