Mission
The purpose of this club shall be:

1. To edit, produce, and distribute DeSales University’s only literary publication, Calliope
2. To offer members writing prompts and constructive critique of such writing pieces in order to better the artist
3. To promote outside publication of members’ works
4. To encourage all members and majors of DeSales University to express themselves creatively
5. To uphold Salesian traditions while pursuing creative work, and to host events to better the student body and charities.
6. An academic club whose purpose is to promote creative expression in both writing and artistic forms across campus through events and the publication of the school's literary magazine, Calliope. 


Join us every other Wednesday at 4:30 P.M. in Dooling 104 to workshop your creative writing.

Membership Benefits
Members of our organization have the opportunity to submit their pieces to our annual literary journal known as calliope.

Along with that, they have the opportunity to assist in it's formulation as an editor.
