As some of you may know, Engagement Consultant, Louis, graduated this past semester. Evan will be taking over in helping me out! Emily is continuing with us this semester as well.
Engagement Consultants help me help you by helping with office work, involvement fairs, emails, etc. You will probably see them in my office if you stop by (Dorothy Day 174) and you may get some emails from them.
Sustainability of items & storage
If your DSO is purchasing or making items and decorations, please be mindful of how they can be used in the future. You should be keeping all decorations and items (that can be kept) to be used in years to come.
For storage of these items year to year, your first stop should be checking with your advisor if they have space for you to store things for your DSO. If they do not, you can reach out to me and we can see if we can find you space in our storage!
Event Help Opportunity
You should have recieved an email from me about assisting with World Day hosted by SGA.
This CAN count towards the event help DSO requirement.
The SGA Budget Committee met last night to go through the budget requests that were submitted for this semester.
We have begun to approve the submissions. However, there are some questions that we have and you will be getting an email from me soon for clarification. Others we are also waiting on amounts from Catering.
NOTE: An approval for the budget request does not equal an approval for the event/event date. You will still need to submit the event on Bark for approval prior to advertising.
You can still submit budget requests for this semester. However, please remember requests have to be submitted at least 15 school days prior to the event or activity that you need the funding for. Additionally, we may not be able to approve for everything due to it being after the priority date and funding being allocated elsewhere.
