All DSO Meeting

We will only be having one All DSO Meeting this semester. It is on Wednesday, October 30th at 4:30 in Dooling Auditorium (see below to register for the event).
This is a required meeting for all DSOs! At least one officer from each DSO is required to attend (officers can represent more than one DSO).

I will go over some important information, make some announcements, and give a Bark tip or two. There will also be opportunities to ask questions and talk with the group of other DSOs! This is a great opportunity to announce upcoming events/activities, look for collaborations, ask for oppinions, etc.

Hi, I'm Liz!

I have had the pleasure to meet many of you already, but if we have not met yet, Hi, I'm Liz! 
I am the Coordinator of Student Engagement & Leadership. I oversee all of the DeSales Student Organzations (DSOs) here at DeSales. I also oversee Bark! 
So, any questions, comments, concerns, etc. you have about your DSO or Bark, I am here to help! 

A little bit about me:
  • I just got married in August!
  • I have an almost 6 year old yellow lab named Nico
  • I love to go to concerts and have been to over 160 concerts

Louis and Emily and my current work study students who hep me out with the DSOs and Bark! You may see/may have seen emails from them throughout the semester/year!

DSO Officer Headshots

We are offering free headshots for any DSO officers next week! This will take place over two days and in two different locations:

  • Wednesday, October 23rd 11am-1pm (Dorothy Day Mall)
  • Thursday October 24th 2:30pm-4:30pm (Top of the hill, by the Our Lady Deliverance Statue that is near the Heights)
You can sign up for a 5 minute time slot. There will be two people per timeslot. Taking the photos will only take about minute for each person.

This is a great opportunity to get an updated picture to have on your Bark profile, on your linkedin, in your email header, etc.

Catering

DSU Dining/Sedexo is the provider for all food and drinks on campus. 
If you would like to get outside catering for a DSO activity, you must get permission from DSU Catering. 
All catering requests can be emailed to the following emails (must include all three on the email):

  • bruce.chickey@desales.edu
  • rich.jacoby@desales.edu
  • steve.crossgrove@desales.edu
It is also always a good idea to follow up with them the day before or the morning of your event to confirm everything is all good for your event for catering.
