February (Mini) DSO Newsletter

IMPORTANT:

All events for the spring semester must be in Bark by March 18th!

Any events submitted on Bark after March 18th will not be aproved (this does not include member meetings, those may be posted after this date).

This also means that all budget requests need to be in prior to March 18th as well, since events that require budget funding should not be submitted until the budget request is approved. 

Yearbook Group Photos

As a reminder, all DSOs are required to submit a group photo for the yearbook each year. This photo can be of your members or just your officers, it is up to you! 

These photos are due by April 17th and can be emailed to yearbook@desales.edu

SEAL's photography team has offered to take a group photo with a professional camera for your DSOs! You can sign up on their sign-up sheet here. Please include the location you would like to do it at, the name of your DSO, & the email for a contact person from your DSO.

Getting a photo from the photo team is not required, you can submit a photo you take yourself, but I encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity!

You can flip through the Yearbook from 2022-23 here to see what others have submitted in the past.

*Please note, this is currently only open to DeSales Student Organizations (DSOs)* If you are unsure if a group you are apart of is a DSO or not, you can go to Bark, go to "Groups" at the top, search for the group, and see if it says  "DeSales Student Organization (DSO)" underneith it. 

All DSO Meeting

The Spring semester All DSO Meeting has been rescheduled to Monday February 24th at 4:30pm in Dooling Auditorium.

As a reminder, this is a required meeting for all DSOs. At least one officer from your DSO is required to attend. 
If there are any issues you must make me aware PRIOR to the meeting.

Inside Scoop Fundraisers

Warmer weather is not too far away, and Inside Scoop fundraiser sign-ups are back!

We are partnering with The Inside Scoop again this semester to create DeSales Tuesdays & Thursdays! DSOs have the opportunity to sign up for a day during the semester to host a fundraiser at Inside Scoop.
