Mission
The EARTH Club exists to spread awareness and accomplish environmentally friendly initiatives on the DeSales University Campus. The club gives students the opportunity to work together on a wide variety of projects to make campus a greener place. The EARTH club members will participate in educating students and visitors about the dangers and health consequences of microplastics on the Earth and our bodies. We hope to employ the catholic belief of protecting God’s gifts and creating a clean habitat on campus. We will represent DeSales University honorably by; educating, protecting, and creating a welcoming environment for all.

The organization aligns with the core values of DeSales University by encouraging students to truly be who they are and be that well. The core values are as follows:

Wisdom
We aim to seek knowledge and wisdom in environmental sustainability by sharing experiences, research, and volunteering through projects.
Humility
Whenever possible, we hope to give back and serve the community environment in the spirit of St. Francis DeSales.

We strive to interact with all club members, peers, and community members with kindness, patience, and understanding.
Hospitality
All who have an interest in making the world a more environmentally friendly place are welcome in our organization, regardless of physical or mental disability, race, gender, or any other marginalizing factor. This is a space of inclusion, growth, and acceptance and we hope to share that with others.
Gratitude
Our organization is extremely grateful to be able to exist for the betterment of our
students, the DeSales community, and the environment. With this, we aim to see the beauty of our environment and treat it with respect, kindness, and love.
