What is an ASC Angel?
Academic Success Center (ASC) “Angels” are faculty and staff members from student-facing campus organizations who actively integrate ASC services into their classes, resources, and outreach efforts to strengthen student retention and engagement.
The ASC Angel program coordinators provide support through monthly newsletters and semester check-in meetings, offering a strong foundation in ASC services and how they can benefit students.
Angels are invited to collaborate on retention initiatives such as hosting workshops for the university or specific student populations, participating in ASC events, Gateway to Success programs, and Tri Alpha First-Generation College Student Honor Society activities. They also work on projects that expand university services and align with academic major learning outcomes.
