The DeSales University Physician Assistant Challenge Bowl team continues to demonstrate excellence on both the state and national stage. On November 7, 2025, the team earned First Place at the Pennsylvania State Challenge Bowl competition in the Poconos. Building on that success, they traveled to New Orleans and competed in the national Challenge Bowl on May 18, 2026, where they achieved an outstanding Second Place finish among 87 programs from across the country.
The Challenge Bowl is a fast-paced academic competition that tests physician assistant students on a broad range of medical knowledge, clinical reasoning, and rapid decision-making skills. Throughout both events, the students represented the University with professionalism, enthusiasm, and strong teamwork. Their success brings pride to the entire DeSales community and underscores the program’s standing among the nation’s top physician assistant programs.
The team’s performance reflects the dedication of the students, the commitment of faculty, and the strength of the curriculum. These achievements highlight a continued tradition of academic excellence and professional preparation within the DeSales University Physician Assistant program.
Please join us in congratulating Valerie Kline, Lorelei Thompson, Brian Harding, and NataliaLeiria on these outstanding accomplishments and celebrating their hard work and dedication.
