The Chemistry Demonstrations team invites the campus and community to support the 25th Anniversary Chemistry Demonstrations Program Public Performance on Wednesday, April 1, at 7:00 p.m in the Hurd Science Center Auditorium.
Directed by Dr. Rodger Berg, the Chemistry Demonstrations Program is presented in collaboration with Dr. Sara Hayik, Dr. Julie Himmelberger, Dr. Alexander Krupka, Dr. Francis Mayville, Dr. Joshua Slee, Dr. Steven Sweeney, chemistry lab manager Mrs. Patricia Hartman, and the entire Chemistry Demonstrations student team.
The program is designed to inspire elementary, middle, and high school students to develop a love of science while enriching their understanding of chemistry. The demonstrations feature highly visual, entertaining, and sometimes explosive experiments that engage all the senses while illustrating important and accessible chemical concepts.
This event is free and open the public; however, seating is limited and reservations are strongly encouraged. Due to the popularity of the event, seating is assigned, with the earliest reservations receiving seats closest to the front of the auditorium.
