DeSales University Special Olympics will host its annual Polar Plunge on Wednesday, March 4th, from 12:00-4:00 pm in the Billera Upper Parking Lot. This event invites students, faculty, and staff to be “Freezin’ for a reason” by helping raise funds for Special Olympics Pennsylvania.
The Polar Plunge is a fun and meaningful way to support athletes in our community while promoting inclusion and awareness. Participants can register to take the plunge with a team, club, group of friends, or individually, or simply choose to donate to support the cause. For those not interested in plunging, you can still participate by popping balloons over your head, which will be available at the event.
All funds raised go directly toward providing year-round sports training and competitive opportunities for individuals with intellectual disabilities. Every donation makes a difference. Come out and show your support!
