The DeSales University Counseling Center has been nominated for Site of the Year by Kutztown University’s Chi Sigma Iota Counseling Honor Society. This is an especially notable achievement as this marks the inaugural year of the award.
This recognition highlights the Counseling Center’s strong commitment to excellence in clinical training and student support. Central to this success is its dynamic internship program, which provides hands-on learning opportunities while enhancing the well-being of the DeSales community.
“We are incredibly proud of our internship program and the outstanding interns who contribute so much each day,” said Wendy Kalamer, associate dean of student retention and wellness. “Their dedication, compassion, and professionalism make a meaningful difference in the lives of our students.”
The nomination underscores a shared mission to promote mental health and personal growth across campus. Congratulations to the Counseling Center and its interns for this well-deserved honor!
