Mission
The purpose of this organization is to educate DeSales students about the many ways they can live environmentally sustainable lifestyles on a budget. Students For Sustainability wishes to raise awareness and provide students the opportunity to discover and unravel their own personal sustainability journeys. In addition, the club hopes to work with DeSales University to make strides in making campus more environmentally friendly and sustainable. Students For Sustainability aligns with the core value of gentleness. Pope Francis has called Catholic institutions around the world to care for the climate and the Earth so that it may endure for future generations. God has entrusted men and women to protect, defend, and preserve His divine and beautiful creations. Therefore, Students For Sustainability wants to answer God’s call and educate others on how they can be gentle towards God’s creations.
